Ahearn Accepts Scholarship

Another of New England's top unsigned seniors came off the board this week when St. Andrew's and Team New England's Dylan Ahearn announced his commitment to Slippery Rock University.

Ahearn is a four-year varsity player and 1,000 point scorer who had a chance to finish as the winningest player in school history before the pandemic limited his senior season to just 7 games.

Ahearn averaged 11 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals per game last year as a junior while shooting 51% from the field, 42% from the three-point line, and 86% from the free-throw line.

While he is very skilled, he is also extremely smart, but his game went to even new levels this year as he completely changed his body and expanded his athleticism.

"Dylan is the ultimate role player. He does everything well and is sneaky athletic. His shooting ability is top notch and we need him on the court at all times because of his toughness and ability to make the right play at the right time," Said head coach Mike Hart. "He is a huge role model off the court too."

Below are highlights from his senior season.
